Introducing Apex Ag Field Technology, powered by Taranis

Jonesboro, AR — January 28, 2026 Apex Ag Solutions today announced a new partnership with Taranis, a global leader in AI-powered crop intelligence, to enhance the services it delivers to Arkansas growers. Through this collaboration, Apex Ag Solutions is launching Apex Ag Field Technology, powered by Taranis, giving growers earlier, leaf-level insight into what’s happening across their fields.

The partnership with Taranis allows Apex Ag Solutions to deliver proactive, data-driven agronomy that helps growers detect crop threats sooner, reduce risk, and make more confident in-season decisions—often before issues are visible from the ground.

As we continue to grow Apex Ag Solutions, our focus stays the same: giving growers clarity they can trust to make confident decisions before problems cost them yield or dollars,” said Ryan Bane, CEO of Apex Ag Solutions. “No two farms—or fields—are the same, and Apex Ag Field Technology, powered by Taranis, helps us tailor recommendations using leaf-level insight so we can be more proactive, more precise, and more intentional throughout the season.”

Taranis uses artificial intelligence to analyze ultra-high-resolution imagery captured by enterprise-grade drones six times throughout the growing season to detect crop threats that could reduce yield, such as emergence issues, weeds, insects, nutrient deficiencies, and disease, at the leaf level. These insights are delivered through intuitive dashboards and a mobile app with field-level reports—making it easy for Apex Ag agronomists and growers to see what’s happening, prioritize field activity, and communicate action plans early and clearly from the office or the field.

“As an Arkansas native, I know how quickly field conditions can change and how valuable early insights can be,” said Jeff Dickens, Regional Account Manager at Taranis. “This partnership ensures growers receive advanced crop intelligence through a local team they trust—turning data into practical, timely decisions in the field.”

As part of its continued growth in Northeast Arkansas, Apex Ag Solutions now operates two locations to better serve growers on both sides of Crowley’s Ridge. The company’s main location is in Bay, Arkansas (778 County Road 680, Bay, AR 72411), alongside its Valley View location in Jonesboro (17 County Road 201, Jonesboro, AR 72404). Apex Ag Solutions will host an open house on February 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., welcoming growers to connect with the team and learn more about the expanded services available across both locations. Details and invitations are being shared through the Apex Ag Solutions Facebook page.
